I searched for truth in our love
from the depths of my being yet bottomless pain just wasn’t healing.
You begged for knowledge in hopes
for anew but how could I speak when honest words I spoke you believed untrue?
I stand now firm when words of continuing
through our relationships hurtful past; for chances you’ve proven, rightfully
inspire and strengthen us at last.
