Strangers Pain

Strangers Pain

Upon a face in yesterdays a smile did appear.
Did life bring you shallow; bring to your eye a falling tear?

Now fall to my knees down my head and pray;
bringing sunshine of laughter upon your face in a later day.

Almost stranger you are to me, yet sad I wish you never.
So, I’ll write you a little something, try and sound a little clever.

Now pen to paper I write your poem, line by line;
to bring a smile to your face at least this one time.
