Wall blocks the unknown

The word spoken is "wall;" while small the word, vague the meaning is not.
Wall describes my ability to guard myself from what i wish could be forgot.

Year after year my wall has stood guard, circling around me with heights surpassing the stars.
With strength I have remaining my wall stands steady, structured by my past plated scars.

Could it be that healthy does not conform such an action?
Once I juggle thoughts of letting another in, fear conforms my inner reaction.

It would come of a simple task to throw the towel in and walk from what's unknown.
Yet heart craves passion to touch my hidden person; to no longer feel alone.
